Insecticides

Prokill

Active ingredients Emamectin Benzoate
Prokil is a natural product derived from a soil microorganism. The product is absorbed into plant tissues and is taken up by larvae, mainly through their digestive system. Any product residue remaining on the leaf surface breaks down within a few hours. The mode of action of Emamectin benzoate for insect control is unique and differs from that of other insecticides. Emamectin benzoate affects the insect's nervous system, causing the insect to stop feeding immediately after exposure to the active ingredient. Mortality occurs 2–5 days after ingestion. The product is toxic to bees only upon direct contact. Once absorbed into the plant and after residue degradation, Prokil is no longer toxic to bees.
