Masamite is a wettable powder formulation and a broad-spectrum acaricide. It rapidly controls all developmental stages of mites, including eggs, nymphs, and adults.
Continuous applications of Masai-Mite are not recommended; it should be alternated with acaricides from different chemical groups as part of resistance management.
Masamite has low toxicity or is non-toxic to beneficial natural enemies, including:
Chrysopa spp, Stethorus punctillum, Amblyseius longispinosus, Orius spp, and Typhlodromus occidentalis.
In apple orchards where resistance to Masai-Mite has previously been detected, do not apply Masai-Mite alone; instead, combine it with an acaricide from a different chemical group.
