BB-5

BB-5 is an acidifying surfactant designed to improve the spraying results of herbicides, nutritional products, defoliants, acaricides, and plant growth regulators in foliar applications. The product contains: wetting agents, spreading agents, acid, and a pH indicator. The BB-5 surfactant lowers the pH. The surfactant has a buffering capacity, and in any case, the pH does not drop below a value of 4. The surfactant contains a dye that acts as an indicator for achieving the appropriate pH, without the need for complex testing. BB-5 possesses excellent wetting and spreading properties for spray droplets. The product improves the penetration of the spray into the foliage and prevents the hydrolytic degradation of pesticides that occurs in an alkaline environment. Additionally, BB-5 improves the mixing capability of pesticides within the spray solution.
