Supira Onion

A red onion variety with a round bulb and deep purple skins. It features moderate growth and very good root system development, which provides high tolerance to soil-borne diseases. An exceptionally early red variety with good top fall (lodging).

Recommended sowing / planting dates:

This onion variety is intended for very early sowing in the Arava region and the northern Dead Sea (beginning of September).
Later, from mid-October to mid-November in the rest of the country.
Start of falling in the early sowing date: starting from the beginning of March, and in the classic dates from mid-April.
This onion can also be grown from onion sets.
