Mata Hari Onion

Purple onion variety with round bulbs and deep purple skin. The plant has exceptionally vigorous growth (therefore, nitrogen fertilization levels should be carefully managed) and an extensive root system, providing high tolerance to pink root disease. This onion variety is intended for sowing from late October to the end of November. Beginning of neck fall in the early sowing period: late April. This onion can also be grown from sets.
